Quick and Easy Beanie

I love that this pattern is so quick and colorful.  I am using colorful YarnArt Harmony where the colour changes gradiently. And once you pick and add a pom pom you have lovely stylish hat.

Material

YarnArt Harmony yarn, color A-7, 2 skeins

Hook 5.5

Size

finished hat is 24cm wide and 22cm long

Pattern

• Row 1: Magic circle. Ch-3, dc 12 times in circle. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (12)

• Row 2: Ch-3, 2dc in each st. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (24)

• Row 3: Ch-3, 1dc in first st, 2dc in next* repeat around. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (36) 

• Row 4: Ch-3, dc in first 2 sts, 2dc in next* repeat around. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (48)
  

• Row 5: Ch-3, dc in first 3 sts, 2dc in next* repeat around. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (60) 

• Row 6: Ch-2, hdc around. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (60) 

• Row 7: Ch-3, dc in third loop of each stitch. Join with sl st to top of first dc. (60)

• Row 6 and 7 repeat 5x

• For the ribbing make 5 more sc rows

• Weave in all ends

• Alternatively attach the fur pom pom to the top of your hat
